Meet Dr. Irons, Board-Certified Periodontist

Dr. Farrell Irons was born and raised in Roanoke, VA. She earned her Bachelors degree in Chemistry & Biology from the University of Virginia and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.

After dental school, she completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Florida St. Petersburg. Following her AEGD, Dr. Irons completed her Periodontics residency and earned her Masters degree in Dental sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. During this time, Dr Irons served as chief resident and gained expertise in all aspects of periodontal therapy, dental implants, soft tissue grafting and I.V. sedation. Dr. Irons is an active Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

In her spare time, Dr. Irons likes to spend time with her husband, Dr. Kian Azarnoush, taking peloton classes, listening to audiobooks, and playing with their French bulldog, Aubi. Dr. Irons and Dr. Kian are excited to explore their new city and serve the greater Charlotte area.
